Terms of membership

Effective November 11, 2026

These terms apply when you join the HerFutureReady community. By applying and accepting a place, you agree to them.

Membership and fee

Membership runs for 12 months from the start of your intake. The fee is $100 CAD for the year, paid once by secure online payment after your application is accepted. A few supported seats are free for women who can’t pay; no proof is needed, and requests stay private.

Refunds

  • You can get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of paying, or before your first session, whichever is later.
  • After that, the fee isn’t refundable, because your place was held for you.
  • If HerFutureReady cancels the program before it starts, we’ll refund your fee in full.
  • To ask for a refund, write to hello@herfutureready.com. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

What we promise

Access and growth: weekly online sessions, the community, and the chance to present at HerCareerConference and the December virtual showcase. Schedules, themes, guests and partners may change. HerFutureReady is not a recruitment agency, and we never promise a job, interview or introduction.

How we treat each other

  • Be respectful and kind, in sessions, at events and online. Harassment and discrimination of any kind aren’t tolerated.
  • Keep what other members share in confidence. Their stories are theirs to tell.
  • Don’t record sessions or share members’ details without their permission.
  • Don’t use the community to sell or recruit without our agreement.

If someone disregards these terms, we may talk with them, suspend them or end their membership. A membership ended for serious or repeated breaches isn’t refunded.

Your work and photos

The work you create is yours. Sessions and events may be photographed; we’ll ask before featuring you, and you can always say no. Our session materials are for members’ personal use.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will tell members by email before important changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
